Support
Everything below is the short version. If it doesn't answer your question, write to hello@umsalve.com and a real person will reply.
01Getting in touch
Email hello@umsalve.com. We read every message and aim to reply within two business days.
It helps to tell us which iPhone you're on, which iOS version, and — if a specific save went wrong — the link you were trying to save.
02Setting up the share sheet
Salve saves things through the iOS share sheet, so the first thing to do is put it where you can reach it.
Open Instagram, TikTok or X, tap Share on any post, swipe the app row to the end and tap More. Tap Edit, find Salve in the list and add it to your Favorites. From then on, sharing to Salve is two taps.
The app walks you through this the first time you open it. If you skipped it, you can redo the whole flow from the share sheet itself — nothing in the app needs to be reset.
03When a save doesn't arrive
A save normally shows up on your Home screen within a few seconds and finishes processing shortly after. Reading a long video takes longer than reading a photo post.
If nothing arrives, the usual causes are: you tapped a different app in the share sheet, you're signed out, or the post is private or has been deleted. Salve can only read public posts — if the account is private or the creator removed the post, there is nothing for us to fetch.
A save that failed shows why on its row, and you can retry it from the item's menu.
04Reporting content, and blocking someone
Every item is screened automatically when it's saved. On top of that, anything another person adds to a folder you're both in can be reported: open the item, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Report content.
You can also block the person who added it, from the same menu or from the folder's member list. Blocking hides everything they add from you, and if you own the folder it removes them and their items from it.
Reports come straight to us. If you'd rather write to a person about something you've seen, hello@umsalve.com reaches us just as fast.
05Your subscription
Salve Pro is sold through Apple, so Apple handles the billing. To change plans or cancel, open Profile in the app and tap Manage subscription — that opens Apple's own subscription screen, which is the only place a cancellation can happen.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or it renews. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.
Reinstalled the app, or signed in on a new phone? Tap Restore purchases, in Profile or on the paywall. If it says there's nothing to restore, check you're signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.
06Deleting your account
Open Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. It asks once to confirm, then permanently deletes your account and the data we hold for it — your saves, folders, notes and chats.
This does not cancel an active subscription: cancel that through Apple first, using the steps above.
If you only want a single item gone, you can delete it from its own menu without touching the rest.
