What is Salve, exactly?
An app where everything you save on the internet sits in one place. You send the link through the iPhone share sheet and Salve reads the content: it writes a summary, transcribes the audio, reads the text on screen, and files it in a folder. Later you find the item by any of those, even by a phrase you half remember.
How do I save something?
You share it, the way you already do. Tap Share on the post and pick Salve. Two taps, and you never leave the app you were in. The item shows up on your Home in a few seconds. The first time, the app shows you how to move Salve to the front of the share row.
Where can I save from?
Instagram, TikTok, X, and any web page: an article, a recipe, a doc page. The post has to be public. If the account is private or the creator deleted the post, Salve cannot read it.
Do I have to watch the video again to find what I wanted?
No. Every save keeps a summary, the audio transcript, and the text that appears on screen. Your search reaches what the creator said inside the video, beyond the caption they wrote. You can also ask outright: “what was that lemon pasta recipe?”
Isn’t this the same as Instagram saves?
Instagram saves stay inside Instagram, in a grid of thumbnails with no titles and no search. You remember that you saved something, but you cannot find which one. Salve puts Instagram, TikTok, X, and the web in one place, reads what is inside each item, and gives it all back through search.
Does it work on Android?
Not yet. The app is for iPhone. Your archive opens in the browser at umsalve.com from any device, but you can only save from the iPhone.
Is it free?
Yes, the free plan gives you 7 saves and 10 chat messages per week. The counter returns to zero every week. Salve Pro removes the limit and unlocks the connector for ChatGPT and Claude. Apple sells the subscription through the App Store.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Apple bills you and Apple cancels. Open Profile, tap Manage subscription, and cancel on Apple’s screen. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. Your saves stay after that.
Do you see what I save?
Your saves show up for you and for the people you invite to a shared folder. No other user sees them. To write the summary and the transcript, the content passes through the commercial APIs of AI providers. We do not sell your data and we do not publish what you saved. If you delete your account, we delete the saves, the folders, the notes, and the chats.
